Severn Orthotics is a specialist orthotics clinic providing expert assessment, treatment, and ongoing care across Shropshire and surrounding areas.
We assess, prescribe, and manage a wide range of neurological and orthopaedic conditions, adapting treatment plans as needs change over time. Appointments are available in clinic or at home where appropriate.
Collaborative Care
Orthotics extends beyond foot care. A qualified Orthotist can assess and manage conditions affecting the entire musculoskeletal system, with the aim of improving mobility, function, and quality of life. We work collaboratively with consultants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.

What Are Orthotics?
Orthotics is the branch of healthcare focused on the design, manufacture, and fitting of external devices (orthoses) that support, align, correct, or improve the function of the body.
These devices are used to support individuals with injury, neurological conditions, or long-term musculoskeletal problems by improving movement, reducing pain, and enhancing independence.
In simple terms, orthotics helps people move better and function more comfortably through targeted external support.
